Assistant Principal

I am so excited to begin the year as the Assistant Principal at Cottage Grove Elementary. Born and raised in Daly City alongside my  twin brother,  I now reside in San Mateo with my two boys.

I earned my undergraduate degree from USF and my teaching credential from SFSU. In 2008, I returned to USF to complete a Master’s Degree in Teaching with a Reading Specialist Certificate. With over 21 years in education, I’ve spent the last ten years at Cottage Grove—initially teaching first grade and, then serving as the Student Support TOSA for four years, and now my third year as Assistant Principal. This experience has allowed me to work closely with our administrators, and I am eagerly looking forward to collaborating with Ms. Delahunt and our incredible staff this year. 

I am passionate about engaging with our students and families daily, and I deeply believe in the power of building relationships and trust. Having worked in various districts and schools, I can confidently say that Cottage Grove is the most exceptional community I’ve ever been a part of. The dedication of our teachers and staff to creating safe, warm, and inclusive learning environments is truly inspiring. Cottage Grove Elementary has become a second home to me, and I am excited for what promises to be a wonderful year ahead.
